Water Garden Blooms

I had a wonderful opportunity to paint at Clark Gardens in Weatherford yesterday. We started early to avoid the Texas heat. I met up with 20 or so other artist to enjoy the water lilies in bloom. They were the shining stars amongst the other summer flowers. This is a 50 acre garden oasis developed by Max and Billie Clark and was started in the early seventies. It is an unexpected treasure and great place to visit.
