Warm Fall Ride

10x20 oil on canvasIt's a road trip, and great adventure that I crave. I love to take the scenic route to search for my next painting location. I found this great spot on the back roads to Glen Rose. I painted this in the studio using photos and color studies. I used the palette building up layers of colors, block by block.
